What is a B-1 visa?

The B-1 visa is a business visitor visa. It allows you to stay in the U.S. between 90 and 180 days and is categorized as a nonimmigrant visa.

What is the difference between a B-1 visa and the Visa Waiver Program (VWP)?

Essentially, the same rules apply for both types of visas. With the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), you can stay up to 90 days in the U.S. With the B-1/B-2 visa, you can extend your stay from 90 days to 180 days.

How long does it take until I receive my B-1 visa?
